I am fine with you agreeing with me, disagreeing with me, etc. But please keep it civil when directing comments at me and your fellow commenters. Thank you.

I hate Christians. I only pretend to be Christian so I am not judged and treated fairly at school. Ignorance is bliss. So god bless you all.

I am a strong atheist but I am glad to see that christian like you still exist because I am not sure if its the majority of christian.

Please mention people like Ted Haggard and Benny Hinn, Peter Poppoff and other scoundrils like them. The sad thing is that people follow them. They are all liars and thieves.

@HelloWalterSobchak – I think those preaching that condom use is a sin are completely off-base.

  • HelloWalterSobchak says:

What is your opinion on Christians that go to very poor, 3rd world countries, and preach condom use as a sin; in a community that doesnt even know what a condom is, now they believe it is a sin, in a community riddled with STD’s?

This is very uplifting to hear. Agnostic here, and I couldn’t be happier to hear a person of any faith make this point very clear. Thank yeah.

@hockeyjock81 Your comment was very elequently put and perfectly expressed what I was thinking thank you for being one of the distressingly few voices of reason on youtube

  • vghvghvgh says:

I am an agnostic who leans towards the existence of a God who is at least similiar to the Christian/Jewish God and it sickens me to see people like Pat Robertson say such vile things and seeing true Christians such as yourself point out the absurdity and ignorance of such people and their statements gives me great hope for a religion that has seen it’s fair share of atrocities and terrible people so thank you for easing some of my repulsion towards your religion

@Steelcoremasher yeah but why would god murder some people who had nothing to do with the “haitian pact with the devil” (which is the biggest bullshit a thon i have ever heard)that happened two billion years b4 this.and you state haiti uses witchcraft?what? mate i think you are old enough to know there is no such thing as wichtes and the easter bunny

  • Barneyjake says:

I think you make the point that beliefs vary greatly however Pat Robenson, the Westbouro baptist church etc. all reference the King James version of the bible and are on opposite ends of the specturm regarding the laws. I just don’t understand.

  • sharafudin2 says:

i agree with you that some people don,t like to talk about the truth so i commend you for standing up for the truth and hope you stand in the future when ever you see or hear something wrong i am Muslim i have respect for Christen and (Jesus)(Isa) peace and blessing be up on him)

  • hockeyjock81 says:

Fred Phelps and Pat Robertson and their followers are to Christianity as Al Quaida and the Taliban are to Islam. Extremism in anything is bad for humanity.

Thank you. Thanks for trying to be Christlike, and for having the courage to take a public stand against those who claim the name of Christ and yet behave in such a hateful, unChrist-like manner.

westboro is indeed an abomination, but when you look in the bible it clearly states things about homosexuality. This is why we athiests,at least myself, cant stand religion in general. While I appreciate your candor, its unfortunate other christians dont see it the way you do.

    On your Steelcoremasher comment

Hello there, I think you completely missed his whole point (purposely?)
He says that it seems you HAVE to pick and choose if you completely agree with the bible AND disagreee with Pat Robertson, stating that it has no scriptural support. It does….or not? Why not, would you like to share that?

But, good video. I´ve heard and seen more people reacting this way and these critiques is what is missing amongst Muslims.
    Thanks

  • acravatt says:

The Bible says that you will know them by their fruits. Guess this shows that Pat Robertson is lacking in the fruits of the spirit.
    Another favorite of mine is…
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
A lot of churches seem to forget that they are suppose to follow Jesus and not just someone wearing a suit standing in the front of the room.
Now I’m starting to get “Preachie” LOL.
    PEACE!

Shane Watson, I appreciate you. People like you give Christianity a chance of staying pure and uncorrupted. Its people like you who give me some fleeting hope that Christianity is indeed a serious, respectable religion. To be honest, there are tons of people such as Pat Robertson that make Christianity seem like a complete joke and utter waste of time. Why? Because they are hypocrites. Thanks again for your well chosen words.

  • silverladderdotcom says:

@Steelcoremasher Did you hear me question the word of God in the Bible? No. You heard me question the words of Pat Robertson, a human being who chose his words poorly. Do your research. Haiti is 80% Roman Catholic. So, as far as “picking and choosing,” it isn’t me picking and choosing verses (as you didn’t hear me disagree with anything in the Bible). It’s folks such as yourself and Pat picking and choosing places to point the finger at. America is just as bad. Open your eyes.

  • Steelcoremasher says:

Pat Robertson’s comment offensive? The bible clearly says the same thing in Dt.18:10 Let no one be found amoung you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,or casts spells. Anyone who does these things is DETESTABLE to the LORD, and because of these DETESTABLE practices the LORD your GOD will drive out those NATIONS before you. The national religion in Haiti is VOODOO and its black magic a form of witchcraft. So you pick and choose verses?
