This is a digital age, one in which a wealth of accessible information empowers you, but where is the information coming from? How accurate and unprocessed is it? How empowered do you feel debating a television screen …

Whenever I try to apply pressure to someone’s
beliefs and it isn’t hard, eventually I see the
desperation and sadness in their eyes and
then I can’t continue and I leave it alone. The
last thing I want is to hurt anyone.
I’m a better Father than god is. I have a son and I wouldn’t do such a thing to him or my grandchildren or their children. I would forgive him because I love him so much.
hellno xD
No, like majority of the public, you have been brainwashed by the media. Muslims are not terrorist / extremist.
cherry picking is the only reason why religion still exists!
For an “absolute truth revealed to men” which is what the bible and the old testament are supposed to be, it’s a very demeaning point of view.
Of course, nowadays, throwing rocks at gay people, genocide, slavery, polygamy and other things the bible supports are innaceptable to our morale standards, so the only way to keep pretending is to choose the less creepy verses and ignore the rest…
Sorry but all religions are not true, read about them and take the good stuff out of them, but sorry to tell you none of them are true.
Exodus 34: 13-28
Which ten commandments. The false ones Moses made up that most people refer to, or the real ones supposedly written by god starting in Exodus 34?
In the Hebrew scripture, Adam alternates between the singular and plural form. Meaning mankind.
I wish he spoke as well as he writes
If god was so good, why did he bait Adam? “He could only make one bad decision.” Is “one bad decision” all a loving parent allows? Do you really believe the bible story?
@svenswart
cute story.
I believed it when i was a little kid.
Obviously now I’ve grown up and I’m not a gullible person.
I have read this guy’s book “Letter to a Christian Nation”
It touches bases on a lot of very important topics, and reguardless of your religion, it is a very valuable read.
@rclawitw I agree with this statement 100%. Now, go tell that to a Muslim.
Agreed
@radiospirit really the point of evolution is to evolve out of something to make the said species better obviously the in between states wouldn’t be around because it was most likely killed off.
People have the freedom to believe whatever they want. They do NOT have the freedom to impose their believes to others.
I am just curious as to which “jumps” you are referring to? Also, your two HYPOTHESES are not theories in a scientific sense of the word. In science, a theory is the highest standard that can be achieved and are taken as factually true.
A theory takes evidence and puts forth an explanation that that not only is supported by those facts, but makes sense of new evidence as it’s discovered, answers questions and makes predictions that are proven true.
Evolution is a Theory, “god” isn’t. .
That is immoral. God should not blame humanity for one mans actions.
Would you do that? Of course not. Its immoral.
Well said! Bravo!
Actually, Adam was created with the capacity to sin and the capacity not to sin. More than that, he had the consequences spelled out for him. He could only make one bad decision and unfortunately, he doubted God’s goodness and took the bait, therefore mankind inherits sin from Adam, the source of all our griefs.
It’s in the ten commandments. You know, where it states you should honour your parents, not to bear false witness, to abstain from sexual immorality. It’s all there.
Pleasure dude
Fascinating stuff huh. Once you get it clear in your head you start seeing it everywhere. It’s at the core of all bigotry and prejudice. Teach that in high school and the world would be a better place.
@ibfreetubeme Hi, didn´t know about cognitive dissonance, enjoing reading about it. Thanx.
Read up on cognitive dissonance
Fascinating stuff
It’s a little less confronting than the term ‘psychosis’ but it’s on the same continuum. We all experience it in degrees, but mostly we adapt and change when the facts present themselves. One has to provide a safe alternative to the distorted world view or ‘reality’ in order to deconstruct the existing one.
