Can someone clarify them whole religious “Judgment Day” thing?
I know most Christians are pro-Israel….but I’ve read&heard that there is a catch 22 to this. The ?bible states? that when all the Jews return to their homeland Jesus/messiah will return for judgment day. What is judgment day specifically? Isn’t it when those who believe will be saved and those who don’t will burn in hell? So aren’t Christians kinda like “sure go Israel so that we can all be saved while you guys burn” I understand everyone does what’s right by them but I’m just trying to gain more clarity on the issue, not start a religious argument.

Simple enough….. everyone is judged and those that have not believed and repented are punished.

    Revelations 20

11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.
12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.
14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
15If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

    Followed by……

    Revelation 21
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Well, Ali Baba Son, you will get many answers because,

Judgment day is a term used to describe the battle of Armageddon.

But Daniel saw in vision “one like the Son of Man stand before the Ancient of Ages and the books were opened and Judgment set….”

So, there is a literal judgment to determine who will participate in the resurrection of righteousness, or be DESTROYED when this planet self-destructs. Yes, the Hell-fire literally DESTROYS the wicked.

You need to read a book that is Free on the internet: http://abiblecode.com It will explain God’s plan to save this planet and give the date of Judgment day. In addition, it explains why Islam is here and where they are taking us.

    blessings, Ben Yeshua

For a Christian, judgment day is the day when they are rewarded for their faithfulness and obedience. There are different degrees of rewards.

    1Cor 3:12-15
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

For a non-christian, judgment day is a different experience. There are different degrees of punishment ~ and it is based on what you did, or did not do.

    Rev 20:11-15
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
