  • Graham says:

    No they do not.

    They would come under the broad category of “protestant” for want of a better term.

    They may just say they are free churches.

  • Matthew says:

    No. Non denominational do not have any labels, including protestant.

  • jilllpilll says:

    I am a Christian of a non denominal church. The church is not under any sort of rules or procedures that Baptists, or Protestants, or Catholics are under.

    Any church that tells me I am going to hell for having a pet will not get my money or time

    No they follow God, and I suppose you could label it anything you like.

  • save the drama for your mama says:

    and yes

  • Reoriented says:

    Protestant is a Catholic term for the Reformers of 500 years ago. That it is extended colloquially to all non-Catholic Christians is unfortunate. Non-denominational, Bible, Christians who have a positive hatred for the Church should not be seen as the “Protestant” norm.

  • Transitional Species II says:

    All christians follow the pope or they don’t get into heaven.

  • Midge says:

    no they do not and yes—they are Protestant and it doesn’t matter what they say because they are in effect protesting if they are not Catholic.

  • Kevin S says:

    If you’re a non-Catholic or non-Orthodox Christian, you’re a Protestant. There’s no way around it.

  • XAndrewX Church Militant Mt10:34 says:

    Every Christian Denomination is a decendent of Catholicism whether they like it or not.

    Any Christian Denomination that doesnt accept the authority of the Pope is a Protestant, any dictionary will confirm this fact.

    The Pope is the figure head of all Christianity. World and Religious leaders speak only to the Pope on matters of Christianity.

    These are hard facts.

    Peace be with you

    Pray for Chris/David/patterss (all the same person),

    ~~~~~ Do not listen to Chris/David/patterss,
    2Corinthians 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
    2Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
    2Corinthians 11:15 So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
    ~~~~~Just Believing in Jesus is not enough or demons would be saved.

    James 2:19 You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

    Luke 4:41 Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.

    James 2:24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

    No and Yes.

    If they read the New Testament, agree with its canon, and agree with the Doctrine of the Trinity, they are following the Catholic Church. It is where they differ in other areas doctrinally and with their use of an abridged version of the Old Testament, which makes them protestants, whether they want to be labeled as such or not.
