@bloodrunsclear Wrong again. You didn’t think to at least look up the definition of the scientific method before spouting off nonsense?

Without science this world could support less than 5% of its current population, lifespans would average less than 35 years, and we would be little more advanced than chimpanzees. You’re not just ignorant, but apparently stupid, too–or you’re just kidding. Because only a fool is unaware our society only exists because of science.

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear Scientists learn the scientific method, how to conduct blind tests, and learn a huge amount of information to be able to understand the topics they study. Plumbers typically do not have that skillset.

If those are your standards for science being about “control,” then you can add agriculture, medicine, computing and so much more, since they all involve learning how to control our environment.

You HAVE had a lousy education if you don’t know the first thing about science. Sad.

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear Yeah, right. Name an atheist who considers scientists who are Christians to be traitors. Nobody cares what a scientists believes, as long as his science is good.

Morality is NATURAL (social species evolve socially cohesive behavior)., but it is GOD who condones cannibalism, theft and rape (among other things–see my latest vids).

ANY scientific claim can be INDEPENDENTLY tested by other scientists using their OWN collected data. That’s why science is so effective. Sheesh.

  • sunaru1 says:

    @bloodrunsclear

Science has not become anything. Science is science as it has always been. What people do with scientific discoveries is another issue.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

I do believe in science, that’s why I’m saddened and angered by what its become.

Fine. Some people practice female inequality and might take issue with my position on that too.

  • sunaru1 says:

    @bloodrunsclear

I thought you did not believe in science?!!!

Eating some parts of the body may be unhealthy. Certain people’s of the world have practised cannibalism, not involving murder, and would probably take issue with your views.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

Its a violation of the sanctity of humanity. From a scientific point of view its extremely unhealthy.
Technically I suppose its practically fine to rape and murder as well, but morality dictates otherwise.
To be honest though I have trouble understanding how those standards of morality persist in a purely practical universe.

  • sunaru1 says:

    @bloodrunsclear

That does not answer my question.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

    Thanks for proving my point.

  • sunaru1 says:

    What’s wrong with cannibalism?

  • sunaru1 says:

    @KiddKapo

    I have watched the video!

  • KiddKapo says:

@sunaru1 my God dude will yall stop arguing and trying to prove and disprove God and just watch the damn video

  • 6Bo6rn6 says:

Thank you so much for doing another Sam T!!! Please!! Do as many of these as you can…they’re just the greatest.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

    Just sad…because its right?
Lets see, what did I say?
‘Multiple tests with an averaging of the most popular results’
    How is this different exactly?
Yeah, there’s other things I have science to thank for.
Bombs, drugs, abortion, massive taxes to support environmental fairy tales, hatred and scorn for my beliefs because they run against the elite, being called stupid because I just won’t get with the program.
Dang it, I just keep disagreeing with you!
    How ignorant is that…

  • bloodrunsclear says:

Um, yes. If a plumber determines a scientific truth does he need a PHD before you’ll believe it? Wear a white lab coat?

    Science of control…
-Global Warming: sanctions, plans to control weather and human society (including proposals for widespread sterilization).
    -Eugenics.
    -Genetics.
    -Stem Cell research.

I had a fine education. Just because I don’t agree with you doesn’t make me ignorant.
What you show is a near slavish devotion to the new scientific elite.

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear And your claim about the scientific method…just sad. Just about EVERY aspect of the modern world–from the computers and Internet you’re using to communicate now to the countless reasons why you’re alive today (from advanced agriculture to medicine to safety features)–are a direct result of the remarkable success of science. To scoff about its effectiveness isn’t just ignorant, it’s stupid.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

There are in fact scientists who are Christians…so do you believe them? I’m glad you admit them as scientists. A lot of atheists would consider them traitors.
No, but it doesn’t make sense outside of that. Consider…
    Is morality…
-Natural? Then cannibalism, theft, and rape are moral.
-Social? Then Saddam Hussain was moral.
-A personal choice? Then serial killers are moral.

Reproduce tests to verify validity. Right, and when they can’t they just change the data.

    Science rewards the popular

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear ANYONE can become a scientist and learn how to evaluate and test scientific claims. All it takes is education. But WHO ELSE would you have evaluate scientific claims? Plumbers?

Name even ONE example of science being about “control.” You obviously don’t know any scientists nor are you familiar with scientific organizations, or you’d never say anything so ridiculous. The really sad thing here is you’re showing how profoundly lacking your education has been.

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear That’s just insane. 1st, despite their being fewer Christians among scientists, there are still a lot of scientists who are Christians. 2nd, belief in God certainly doesn’t equate to more moral behavior (see /watch?v=NzBE3LNmKK8 for details). 3rd, since science is based on testable evidence, anyone with appropriate skills can reproduce the tests to verify their validity (try THAT with religion). 4th, science REWARDS those who can disprove claims.

    You’re wrong on all fronts.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

The accuracy of the claims…determined by scientists.
Do you see the discrepancy here?
Science was all about facts. Now its all about control.
Religion has its evidence, but its fun to pretend it doesn’t, kind of like you continue to ignore my own presentations of evidence.

Scientific method: trying the same thing over and over and making an average.
    Sounds about right.

Yup, they really mean divine creed that must be followed or you will burn in the fires of public ridicule.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

Yup. Why not? When you rule out mankind’s connection to anything divine all you’re left with is a bunch of irritatingly individual robots that would keep doing their own thing instead of THE RIGHT thing.
Science once started off as a search for truth, but it seems people in the higher tiers discovered their clout had become so great they could invent their own truth and people would believe. Because science had become a religion with the scientists its priests and the public its parishioners.

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear Anyone can be guilty of arrogance. So what? What matters is the accuracy of claims, and THAT is determined by evidence. Science is ALL about evidence, whereas religion is ALL about faith (even in the face of contradictory evidence).

No, leeches were used BEFORE the scientific method was developed.

You evidently have no idea what “fact” and “theory” mean in regards to science. Hint: they have LITTLE in common with what they mean in casual conversation.

  • Underlings says:

@bloodrunsclear That’s just ridiculous. Do you honestly believe that the vast majority of the scientific community is interested in petty revenge? We get into science because we want to study nature and learn how it works. And any scientist who distorts his findings inevitably gets caught by other scientists because of the reproducibility requirement of the scientific method. Science is all about increasingly correcting knowledge, which is why accuracy steadily improves with time.

  • bloodrunsclear says:

Do you just start at the bottom? I said I’d leave because you’re being continually judgement and ignoring what I say.

Guilt and desire for transcendence do not fit into evolutionary survival of the fittest. They’re both not common among other animals (you can impose guilt on a dog through punishment, but otherwise it doesn’t care) but also leads to ‘unproductive’ behaviors for survival, like altruism, sacrifice, and abstinence.

    What?

  • sunaru1 says:

You are running away and avoiding the issues. OK, we have covered the Fist Law of Thermodynamics. Let’s get on to your second proof – The existence of guilt and desire for transcendence.

How does The existence of guilt and desire for transcendence provide evidence for the existence of God?

As for your last comment, no I do not want a vial of blood or anything like that. BUT, there is one thing God can do and one thing only to prove to me that he / she / it exists.
