    And some people dare to say that his game is not that extraordinary… No one had painted more lines than he did!

    @eddiewongham

    I was starting to think in this period that Federer’s forehand was getting quite slow… Have you seen yesterday’s game? Just hearing how he crushed those balls upon impact gave me the chill of old days. I was used to see him sending them back during that “bad period” and we hardly ever heard again that smacking sound.

    I don’t know how he’s done it, but it’s going faster than in 2008 and 2009.

    @akebefrontiere Ok you clearly are not making any sense. How on earth can you tell me that Federer is lazy? Federer is one of the most committed players on tour, he is always working hard to improve his near perfect game (i.e. adding the drop shot to his repertoire and fixing his rusty forehand late 2008 – early 2009) and sets his sights on new goals even though he is considered the GOAT.

    Plus he is deceptively quick. Nadal pounds the ground to cover the court, whereas Federer floats across.

    Beatiful music and Forehanda shot by Federer, please what a song ?

  • akebefrontiere says:

    Now he misses those shots a lot more because he is older and slower but doesn’t seem to have made the adjustment in compensating for slowness by not being lazy because when you are slower then moving your feet becomes even more important but federer is arrogant in that way as he thinks he can hit any shots even when he is clearly in a very bad position.

    Nadal might not be as talented as roger but he compensates by not being lazy and always moving his feet not matter how hard it is,admiring.

  • muddamshashank says:

    the shot @ 3:18 is the insight into his technique …every piece of his body is aligning to make the shot in the intended direction!

  • erewhile says:

    but still the one at 3:39 is truly breath taking

  • erewhile says:

    his forehand isn’t as good as it used to be in 04/05

  • RATkins741 says:

    Should be repertoire not repertory.
