i love just imagining the images this song paints… i mean picture that guy. its kind of a blue/gray tint and all he can see are scraggly trees and he see’s a man on his bank. the rage builds up and just as he is about to run toward the man, his heart skips a beat. he knows… he knows. it is Jesus. that is the man. here he comes. that is the one. i am free.
I was just at bible camp. all week the pastor spoke of demons and how love in god is the only way to rid yourself of them! While I had accepted Christ as my savior,I had not dedicated my life to him. Then even after camp for some reason I still felt hesitant. Then when I got home I was listening to this song for the first time, and it hit me for the first time I felt god love and I broke down and cried with joy!Thankyou for putting this on here you have no idea how much it has changed my life!!!
Hi, this song is about a demon possessed man that Jesus healed. The man lived among the tombs in the Gerasenes (the southern tip of the Sea of Galilee in Isreal). It is a beautiful story of how Jesus freed a man who was completely under the power of Satan. The man was so thankful that he went to all the towns in his province (Gerasenes) telling people about the wonderful thing Jesus had done for him. You can find this story in Mark 5:1-20 in the New Testament of the Bible. Hope this is helpful.

My youth group used this song for Harvest Fest and It was so powerful I cried and it made it so when I went up for my part ((we kneeled down like at the cross)) it felt so real to me… ((We had like papers on our back showing like we were Abortion or unforgivness or Homosexuality and the guy playing the part of Jesus ripped them off of us like he was lifting the chains off us))
