Slyviane A. Diouf, writing on the Muslim slaves in the Americas, conclusively asserts: “Therefore, if counted as a whole, on a religious basis rather on an ethnic one the Muslims were probably more numerous in the Americas than any other group among the arriving Africans”. In Jamaica from 1655 to 1807, Philip Curtin in his work on slave census, proposes 423900 Africans from Muslim dominated areas, representing 56.8 percent of the arrivals. do you think the name “Messianic Judaism” is very effective in converting Jews to Christianity?

do you think the name “Messianic Judaism” is very effective in converting Jews to Christianity?
or is it a failed attempt?

Best answer:

Answer by Ten Commandments
No. Mostly it insults Jews

Example: A Jewish Passover is about the Exodus and is very sacred. A Messianic Passover symbolizes something else because the Last Supper was a Passover meal. To Jews this is hijacking their religion.

Plus Messianic Judaism doesn’t make any sense. The whole point is to follow the Old Testament and the New Testament but at Passover Jesus said “Do this in remembrance of me.” Why would Jesus point out the Passover if he wanted us to follow the Old Testament laws?

Messianic Jews are Christians who follow the Old Testament. It has nothing to do with lineage. This is why it angers Jews so much.

Jesus didn’t ask us to convert by making Christianity more appealing. The whole concept of using Messianic Judaism for conversion centers around deceit. That’s wrong. (They tried to convert me.)

edit: Messianic Judaism doesn’t have anything to do with blood Judaism. I know Messianic Jews and they aren’t Jewish at all. Also Messianic Judaism has no more connections than any other Christian denomination to the apostles. If you learn your history, you’ll find that the ONLY Christian denomination who can claim ANY connection to the apostles is Catholicism.
