What is the difference between a satanist and a Luciferian?

What is the difference between a satanist and a Luciferian?
I’m not referring to LaVeyan Satanists, only Satanists that believe that Satan is a real deity who is to be followed or held in high regard. (Theistic Satanists?)

What is the difference between this kind of Satanist and a Luciferian? They seem to be very similiar.

Luciferians believe that Lucifer was not evil, but has been slandered by Xtian church. There are several branches of Luciferianism, but most of them see Lucifer as having given “light” (knowledge) to humankind.

Luciferians don’t necessarly oppose God, which is why Luciferianism is usually considered a heretical branch of Xtianity.

Obviously all religions strive for a spiritual condition, either in this life – spiritual advancement – or in the next – an advancement of another kind! But what is spirituality without religion? Is it possible,or are free-minded seekers simply deluding themselves? How many of you feel you are “spiritual” but not “religious”?

Catholics are Christian
as are Trintarian Protestants and Eastern, Oriental and Assyrian Orthodox

Catholicism is basic Pre Reformation Christianity and the Catholic /Orthodox Church was united for 1000 years

Protestant Christianity (of which there are some 30,000+ denominations, according to Protestant historians like Matin Marty and Mark Galli) got its Creeds and canon of the New Testament from Catholicism, just to mention two of the many borrowings of the Protestantisms from Catholicism

The varied Protestantisms differ from Catholic and Orthodox Christianity by rejecting the unity of Bible,Apostolic Tradition and authoritative Church as interpreter for Sola Scriptura(claiming to get all doctrine from the Bible alone)

and salvation by Faith Alone(Sola Fide, which is interpreted differently in many ways-as is Sola Scriptura-by many Protestants), with some Protestants rejecting the traditional salvation by grace through faith, hope and love-‘lived faith”-united

Christianity is the whole and Catholic(the largest), Orthodox and Protestant are subsets of being Christian

Many Protestant groups differ more with some other Protestants than with Catholicism

What is one difference between Ahmadinejad and Cinderella?

What is one difference between Ahmadinejad and Cinderella?
Both were from low families.
Both had big plans.
Both thought that they deserved to be in the ruler’s house by any means possible.
Both used “angels” to cheat the prince/people.
Both acted as if they were heroes at the end of the day.
Both used their power to punish those whom they believed were evil.
@ Hashtag: Are you sure Cinderella did not “live happily ever after” in the kitchen cooking for the prince, washing the dishes, etc? 😉
EDIT: Oops! I forgot another similarity: Both used to wear dirty clothes!

In reference to Christian music, what is the difference between a regular album and a “worship” album?

In reference to Christian music, what is the difference between a regular album and a “worship” album?
I just bought Jeremy Camp’s “We Cry Out” and it is labeled as a “worship album. I liked it so much that I bought an older CD of his called “Restored”. It is good as well, but one thing I noticed is that he talks about God and Jesus in reference, but does not say “God” or “Jesus” in his songs on this album. On the “worship” album, he says both frequently. What is the deal? Christian artists do not do this so they can appeal to non-Christians for sales purposes, do they?

Best answer:

Answer by Rubym
I’m no expert at this, but there are songs that are just in general about God or some religious theme, and ‘worship’ music would praise God. I don’t know any individual examples, but that is what I understand. Worship means praise or giving glory to God. There are songs that are about human struggle, the idea of faith or charity that are not worship.
