What are your views on Scientology?
I had a bad experience in the Plymouth “church of scientology” (they “hired” me by telling me it was a proper carreer and that it would be just 40 hours a week which all turned out to be lies, I’ve finally escaped!). Are they all like this? What’s your experience of it?

A very special day at the Church of Scientology. St Stupid’s Day Parade stopped by to give their yearly blessing to LRH, while Anon gave out free hugs and GOOGLE SCIENTOLOGY cards. Saw about 6 Staff total, no Public. New (to me) Staff Guy shut the Org gates tight within 15 minutes, and my favorite SF OSA Lady came out to dance and take pictures at the end. also, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Thank you SF!!!! Is nobody buying into the Church of Scientology anymore?
4 years ago I looked at E-bay for going market values on “Scientology” items and there was lots of activity and lots of bids on Scn items.
15 minutes ago (3:13 PM GMT, Aug 18, 2009), I looked and not one bid, with the exception of the obvious “self bidders”, on 7 pages of items.

Isn’t this yet another indication that their “ship is sinking”?

Is Scientology a large growing religion with a large congregation?
I saw on the news today that it’s being investigated by the feds, and also saw the actor Josh Brolin yesterday talking about the weird so-called hands on “healing” that Tom Cruise supposedly did on some little boy I think. (that came out very weird lol, and sadistic. But hey, I didn’t say it). Brolin called Scientology “f**king bizarre”. Besides big name Tom Cruise, what are some other big names that are currently members of the church?

All I thought that the church has combined beliefs of “science and spirituality” because of the word “scientology” well perhaps I was wrong.

What if you unequivocally know that past life auditing as done by Scientology is false ?
I have a friend, an author of three published books, who has performed “exorcisms” (not the religious kind) to dispel “disembodied” spirits from homes and business.

He unequivocally states that Scientology is a lie because the minimum time between lives is 50 years. Therefore, any “Scientology” who under past life auditing, including their profitable Interiorization-Exteriorization Rundown, that involves any “lives” less than 50 years apart is imagining it. PERIOD.

Therefore, their past life auditing is purely delusional !

Cured ??? yea, right! I took the cure and am now 100% gay…it worked amazingly well. I was bi before I decided to be cured of this illness. Thankfully, my cure ‘took.” I seriously doubt that most people can say that. Of course, it may be easier to be cured of being Straight than being Gay…I have no statistics on that one.
