Where can I find wording for wedding invitations for renewing vows?
A question from a reader: My husband and I were so excited about getting married we only had a small wedding. Now we are renewing vows to celebrate our love by having a small wedding. I ran across a verse for invitations that was for a marriage that survived hardships so I’m looking for something that stands out about how we’ve gotten through some rough times…

Two questions: What are some alternatives to wedding rings in vow renewal ceremonies and are czs ok for rings?
A question from a reader: My husband and I have been married for three years. When we first got married we eloped (went to the courthouse without telling anybody but my mom lol) and always planned to one day renew our vows so our family and friends could be there. We recently had a rough patch in our marriage and have decided to make a new start and renew our wedding vows next year. The problem is, he has a wedding ring he loves and I recently got a set that I love as well. Now one part of my question is it ok for me to have a cz set. I really love it. It is exactly what I wanted and honestly we don’t have the money for real diamonds as we just had a new little baby girl. The second question is what is some kind of alternative to a wedding ring for us to exchange at the vow renewal. I want us to be able to exchange some sort of token of our love that we can wear as a reminder of this fresh start we are making together. I was thinking some sort of matching ring, or perhaps some kind of matching pendant? Any ideas?
oh and also, our daughter’s birthstone is Garnet our birthstone is aquamarine. I had thought about either exchanging something with a garnet since technically our daughter is the ultimate symbol of our love. Or either something with an aquamarine since that is both of our birthstones (our birthday is 2 days apart lol)
the set I have is a three stone cz ring for the “engagement” part for the past present and future and then a wedding band with diamonds. Its a matching set that came from Avon but looks real and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on… should I tell people it’s fake or when they compliment it just say thank you? I always feel like I have to say well it’s fake…. and also, my husband has a lot of Irish in him and I was looking at the claddagh or however you spell them rings…. do you think perhaps giving each other one of these to wear like on our right hand or whatever would be a good idea?
I am having a renew our vows wedding:?
A question from a reader: I am having a renew our vows wedding. My husband and I are getting married at a courthouse where it holds 100 people. Besides the reception and bridal gown/tux, pictures, cake, and invitations, is there anything that is extremely important to have (beside the marriage license of course) in our wedding?
how does one go about renewing their wedding vows?
A question from a reader: or marriage vows… whatever you call them…
is it like the wedding all over again, with an officiant & all that jazz?
What would you give to someone who is renewing their wedding vows after 1 1/2 years of marriage?
A question from a reader:
When you get remarried or renew your vows.. how does it differ from planning your first wedding?
A question from a reader: My husband and I just got married (a lil court wedding) not too long ago, but wanted to have a bigger wedding when both of our dads get back from Iraq. I was just wondering if we had to get a new marriage license.. or basically is there anything extra or less that I have to do because we’re already married?
p.s. the reason why I call it a “bigger wedding” is because the ceremony would be exactly the same as any wedding.. at my court wedding all I had was my mother-in-law and best friend there, so I didn’t have a first dance, or father-daughter dance, no reception at all in fact, and no honeymoon. This bigger wedding is going to be the way I wanted it.. nice romantic beach wedding with a bonfire and bbq reception full of friends and family.
My husband and I will be renewing our wedding vows after 10yrs of marriage?
A question from a reader: we never had a big church wedding in the beginning we got married at a civil chapel so we r going all out for this wedding is it proper for me to register for gifts concidering we really just want them to come to the wedding and have a good time. So the question is do i have to register when i really don’t want to?
