    Agreed.
If she says one has to be baptized in the Spirit, that means she believes there are only 2 accounts of salvation in the entire N.T.

So you are saying Paul was preaching another gospel, than the 1 the other apostles were preaching? Paul did some baptizing, Lydias household, the jailer and his household, Crispus, Gaius, the household of stephanus, Paul himself was baptized to wash away his sins, so I guess we r saved and recieve the HS before we have our sins washed away according to u, Explain Acts 19:1-5, if we recieve the HS at belief with no baptism?

  • arod peace says:

The HS baptism was a promise, the baptism that Jesus commanded in Mark 16:16, Matt 28:19, and what Jesus said in Luke 24:46-47, where He told the apostles to go to all the world preaching repentance and remission of sins starting at Jerusalem, then u c in Acts 2:38Peter preaching this exact thing Jesus commanded him to preach, Peter said repent and b baptized FOR the remission of sins, and u shall recieve the gift of the HS, the commanded baptism, where we recieve the HS, cont

  • arod peace says:

Well then you need to provide proof of your spirit baptism, cause my bible tells me what this baptism of the HS was for, and it wasnt salvation, but like I said everyone who recieved this baptism, which there r only 2 accounts of in the whole NT, it was accompianied by signs, now Luke 24:49 tells us who was to recieve this HS baptism, Heb 2:4 tells us what the baptism of the HS was for, it was to bear witness with signs, wonders, and miricles, and it was 100% of the time, it never failed, cont

Where does it say that other people were baptizing instead of Paul…..the 11 were sent to baptize in water but paul was not he was not under that comission! There’s only one baptism and its done by the Spirit……baptism does save but its not water it by the Spirit

  • arod peace says:

That is not why Jesus was baptized, he was baptized to fulfill what was required to become the high priest in the order of melchizedek, so that he could offer himself as a sacrifice for sins, if u want more info on why Jesus was baptized let me know! If u take out the providence of God by saying u dont have to be baptized in order to be saved, either by illness or whatever the case may be, would just be saying Jesus didnt mean when he said believe and be baptized and u will be saved!

  • Truevine true says:

In 1 Corinthians 1:13-17 Paul is not discouraging baptism. He even says he baptized a few people in his time. What Paul is simply saying is that God sent him on a special mission to evangelize and spread the good news about Jesus Christ , that was his job. Once he preached he was on to the next town to preach again. It was then up to those who had accepted his preaching to continue in the word and decide to join a church and be baptized. That’s how it usually works. Acceptance then Baptism.

  • Truevine true says:

Also what did Peter say in Acts 2:38?? He said.. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent , and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!

  • Truevine true says:

This is incorrect teaching. Baptism alone won’t save you correct. However, why did Jesus get baptized when he was without sin? He did it as an example for us and also for those who for whatever reason cannot be baptized due to illness , being in prison etc. But he expects the rest of us that are able to be baptized. The word baptism comes from a Greek word that means to submerge. After the crucifixion for about 1000 years baptism was done correctly underwater, then man decided to change it.
